Tragedy struck in Adams County’s Berkley neighborhood when one person was killed in the parking lot of an adult entertainment club. The incident occurred early Monday morning outside the Player's Club, where the Adams County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene at 1:33 a.m., The Denver Post reports.
Through the detailed process, of video evidence and multiple interviews, investigators on the case were able to identify the suspect in the fatal shooting. Named as Bruno Hernandez, the suspect appeared in a heated exchange with the victim on the club's security footage, moments before the crime, as noted by CBS Colorado. A concerted effort by law enforcement led to the apprehension of Hernandez. An arrest warrant for first-degree murder was secured against him. Notably, the Weld County SWAT team, the Ft. Lupton Police Department, and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets task force collaborated in the arrest, a process that culminated at his home, as detailed by Denver7.
