The name of the individual who perished has not been made public, pending notification of kin.
Investigations are underway to ascertain the origins of the blaze, which claimed a life, as well as the exact cause of death, with both elements still unconfirmed at this juncture. The local community, no doubt, waits anxiously for closure and answers as to how such a tragedy could unfold in their midst.
ABC6 corroborated the incident's timing and severity, noting that fire crews managed to suppress the fire after responding just after 1:30 p.m. yesterday.
