Fortunately, the young victim did not sustain injuries during this distressing event.
Investigators from the Wilmington Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division are following up on this serious attempt to abduct a child. They have issued a call for any potential video that might have captured the suspect before, during, or after the incident. "Anyone with information – including potential video surveillance that might have captured the incident or the suspect in the area – is encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant Ron Mullin at 302-824-3751 or [email protected]," according to the details provided by the police.
Meanwhile, the authorities emphasize the importance of vigilance, urging Wilmington residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activities promptly.
