The Cleveland Division of Police has called upon the community for assistance in locating a black Jeep Cherokee SRT, which is suspected to be linked to a kidnapping incident near East 166th Street and St. Clair Avenue, FOX8 reported. According to the witness account, on Monday around 3 p.m., two Black males, suspected to be in their mid-teens and clothed in dark attire, one of whom was brandishing a firearm, seemed to force another teen, wearing a red hoodie, into the vehicle against his will.

Spotted leaving the scene westbound on St. Clair Avenue, the Jeep in question features a broken sunroof and may have been stolen, although confirmation remains pending, as reported by News 5 Cleveland. The victim appeared to have been taken into the Jeep against his will by two alleged kidnappers, believed to be around the ages of their mid-teens, mentioned the caller.

Traffic cameras last saw the vehicle in the area of Ivanhoe Road and Euclid Avenue. Cleveland Police are treating the situation as a potential kidnapping, warranting public involvement to ascertain the vehicle's whereabouts. In their media release, Cleveland Police emphasized the gravity of the situation. “At this time, the Division of Police has reason to believe this may be a kidnapping. Until confirmed otherwise, we are requesting the public’s assistance in locating this vehicle,” Cleveland19 shared the statement.
