The City of Dallas is gearing up for a productive summer ahead, with Mayor Eric L. Johnson at the helm of a new initiative. In collaboration with the All Stars Project, Inc., Mayor Johnson is slated to present the Dallas Works comprehensive summer jobs program to enhance employment opportunities for the city's youth. The kickoff event, as shared through a bulletin by the City of Dallas, is scheduled for April 1 at 9 a.m. in the City Hall Flag Room.

Held at 1500 Marilla Street, the conference will feature several key figures, including City Manager Kimberly Tolbert and Lynn McBee, the recently titled Workforce Development Czar, who are expected to address the program's design and objectives. While engaging with the All Stars Project, the city administration has emphasized the importance of providing young Dallas residents significant work experience and life skills training.

Mayor Johnson will be joined at the press conference by Chris Street, President and CEO of All Stars Project, Inc. This non-profit organization has been instrumental in fostering growth and skill development among the youth. Hunter Hunt, Chairman and CEO of Hunt Consolidated Energy, will also be in attendance, underscoring the commitment of Dallas's business sector to engage with and support local talent.
