The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking information from the public to help track down an escaped inmate, 30-year-old Alissa A. Leeman. Leeman was granted special Huber privileges in the Dodge County Jail which permitted her to leave the facility for work, among other approved activities. On Tuesday, leveraging this allowance, Leeman departed for her job in Horicon but failed to adhere to the conditions of her return.
According to reports from WISN, the inmate left her place of employment early and proceeded to a Walgreens in Beaver Dam, before being observed at the Super 8 hotel around 3:30 p.m. the same day. She was required to return to the detention center by 4:45 p.m., but the time passed without sign of her. Her compliance with the Huber program was thus breached, prompting officials to consider her an escapee.
FOX6 News indicates Leeman's last known attire consisted of a heavy gray jacket, blue jeans, white shoes, and a gray knit cap. Extensive details about her appearance have been disseminated in hopes that someone might recognize her and provide leads. While Dodge County authorities continue their search, there is a growing concern over her whereabouts and safety.
Leeman's place of residence prior to her incarceration was in Green Bay, as WeAreGreenBay notes, though it is uncertain if she may seek refuge there now that she has eluded her confines. The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information related to Leeman's escape, or her current location to contact them immediately, understanding that every second is crucial in cases of escaped inmates.
If you have any information about Leeman’s whereabouts, Dodge County Sheriff's Office welcomes your tips and leads as part of their ongoing investigation.
