A recent mass shooting in North Baltimore has left four individuals wounded and the community in search of answers. Baltimore Police confirmed the incident occurred yesterday afternoon on the 400 block of Venable Avenue. According to FOX Baltimore, multiple reports of gunfire triggered a swift response from Northern District Officers.

Upon their arrival, police located three male victims—an 18-year-old, a 25-year-old, and a 60-year-old—all sustaining gunshot wounds. Shortly thereafter, a 57-year-old woman walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound believed to be related to the same incident. Witnesses described the event as chaotic, with one recalling the rapid succession of shots and their immediate reaction to dive to the ground, as they recounted during an interview with FOX Baltimore.

As reported by CBS News Baltimore, Fitzgerald White, who visited the city with a friend to try a restaurant at the intersection, witnessed the shooting and his friend being struck by bullets. "I looked he had a hole in his shoulder," White told reporters. Another Baltimore native, Monyette Robinson, expressed frustration upon her friend, who had just returned for a birthday celebration, being caught in the crossfire, describing the situation as "frustrating to see this happen to someone who hoped for a celebratory weekend." Robinson's friend, hit by multiple bullets, managed to drive herself to a hospital after the shooting.

With no immediate information on the suspect, Baltimore Police have taken charge of the investigation and are actively seeking help from the public. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2455.
