Fort Worth residents looking to dive into home ownership or brush up on their property improvement skills are in luck this month. In a collaboration that spans the breadth of financial expertise and municipal support, Frost Bank has joined hands with the City of Fort Worth. Their combined efforts have led to the creation of a workshop aptly named "At Home with Frost: From Purchase to Improvements." According to the City of Fort Worth website, the event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and aims to empower prospective and current homeowners through education.
The workshop is set to unfold at Andrews Hall, on the second floor of Texas Wesleyan University’s Nick and Lou Martin Center located at 3165 E. Rosedale St, Fort Worth, TX 76105. Hoping to attract a diverse group of participants, organizers are offering incentives including a free lunch and prizes, as well as a series of expert-led sessions focusing on a range of topics from DIY home improvements to mortgages and property values. Hosting a financial workshop amidst the university's halls of academia, perhaps inadvertently, lends an air of scholarly rigor to the proceedings.
Those interested in attending this educational event are encouraged to RSVP by next Wednesday, March 19. Reservation can be made either through Eventbrite or by contacting Jennifer Edwards directly at 817-420-5540. It's an opportunity for residents to secure essential knowledge that could pave the way for better financial decisions when it comes to their homes.
