At the heart of Governor Stein's proposal, per details shared by his office, is the expansion of job opportunities for the denizens of North Carolina. This includes incentivizing apprenticeships, offering tuition-free community college for certain high-demand industries, and facilitating the re-entry of formerly incarcerated individuals into the workforce. The Governor's initiative also weighs heavily on supporting families by curbing the climbing costs of child care and housing.
