
The Houston Police Department is on the hunt for three armed suspects following an aggravated robbery at a local pawn shop. The incident, which was captured on surveillance footage, took place on a busy Sunday evening last November at approximately 6:30 pm. According to the department's Robbery Division, the suspects stormed into the establishment located on the 5900 block of N. Shepherd, brandishing handguns and demanding patrons and employees to hit the floor.
In broad daylight, the suspects stole firearms, cash, and jewelry from the shop's displays, disregarding the safety of others. Witnesses described the two men involved in the theft as Hispanic males, aged 25 to 35, with heights ranging from 5'8" to 6'0" and weighing approximately 180 pounds. A third accomplice waited outside in a white SUV to facilitate their getaway.
The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division have released suspect profiles and are urging the community to come forth with information. "Suspect #1," they report, "Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, 5’8 to 6’0, 180 pounds and black clothing." The second suspect has a similar description with the addition of a tan long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. The driver, a key figure in the heist, has not been further described beyond his ethnicity and age range.
HPD Case #1608188-24 has been opened for this investigation, and law enforcement is actively seeking tips.
