The Maryland Italian Festival is moving again, packing its pasta and cannoli for a new setting at Aberdeen's Ripken Stadium. According to WMAR-2 News, the festival's organizers have announced a venue change from the Harford County Equestrian Center in Bel Air to the Ripken Stadium parking lot. The popular three-day festival, which drew a crowd of 25,000 from 15 states in its 2023 iteration, will run from September 26 to 28 this year.

Joseph Papa, President of the Society of Italian American Businessmen (SIAB) and co-chair of the 2025 festival, shared excitement about the move, stating, "This new venue provides more space for attendees, vendors, and entertainment, while also increasing accessibility for festival-goers coming from all over the Mid-Atlantic and beyond," according to a Baltimore Fishbowl report. The young but robust festival, which will be celebrating its third year, is presented by Jarrettsville Furniture and sponsored by Galbani Cheese, known for its Italian cheeses that are likely to feature prominently at the event.

Visitors can expect a family-friendly weekend filled with many outdoor attractions, games, and live entertainment, all backdropped by the savory scent of Italian cuisine wafting through the grounds. The new location at Ripken Stadium promises to upgrade space and convenience, offering an even bigger lineup of food, music, and entertainment to delight festival attendees, per the details the organizers revealed.
