
A Maryland man faces multiple charges after disturbing Great Mills' Little Flower School. According to a report by FOX 5 DC, the incident occurred yesterday morning when Myron Stone Scriber, 58, allegedly assaulted a school staff member and then made a getaway on a bicycle.
Responding to the 911 call around 7:45 a.m., deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office encountered the suspect, matching the description provided by the school, trying to make contact. Scriber then reportedly charged at a deputy, leading to a brief physical confrontation with the deputies and a Maryland State Trooper, after fleeing on his bicycle, weaving in and out of traffic. Meanwhile, further details provided by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office social media post indicated that the suspect was also spotted on Route 5 near Holy Face Church moments before the school incident.

After the altercation, Scriber was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown. He now faces an array of charges, including two counts of second-degree assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and disruption of school activities.
