
The Metropolitan Police Department recovered 62 firearms from Washington, D.C., streets between March 10 and March 17. According to officials, the seized weapons included Glock handguns, .30-30 caliber rifles, and 9mm "Ghost Gun," which lack serial numbers. The operation was conducted by Metropolitan Police Department officers in coordination with specialized units.
Police arrested multiple individuals across the city in connection with firearm recoveries and various charges. Among them, 25-year-old Richie Robert Goslee, Jr. was found with a Glock 29 on P Street, while 18-year-old Aaron Tolliver was charged with Armed Carjacking and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon following the recovery of a Glock 26 in Shipley Terrace. Officers also recovered a Beretta 92FS, a Century Arms Micro Draco assault rifle, and a Marlin Glenfield .336c rifle. Authorities continue efforts to address illegal firearm possession and related crimes, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department.
