Good news for North Philly residents: the North Philadelphia Municipal Services Center is back open after a pandemic-related closure and renovations. Located at 2761 N. 22nd St, the center offers a variety of services, including tax assistance and water bill management, according to an announcement on the City of Philadelphia website.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and does not require appointments. Services available include paying bills, setting up payment agreements for tax and water services, and assistance with real estate tax programs. Councilwoman Cindy Bass's office is also available to assist with other questions on Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Services available at the center include signing up for water assistance programs, opening and closing tax accounts, and handling billing inquiries. The center offers convenience by providing these services locally, saving residents from having to travel to Center City.
The center officially reopened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this month, attended by Councilwoman Cindy Bass, City Representative Jazelle Jones, and Revenue Commissioner Kathleen McColgan.
