The NYPD is seeking the public's help to identify the suspects involved in a violent robbery that took place last month at the Dyckman Street subway station in Manhattan. According to a social media post from the NYPD Crimestoppers, on February 17, four individuals assaulted two teenagers, aged 16 and 15, on the southbound platform. The attackers reportedly used a scalpel to inflict physical injury on the victims and proceeded to rob them of their belongings.
The incident, which is still under investigation, occurred in NYPD's 34th Precinct. Authorities are actively looking for any information regarding the suspects. The NYPD Crimestoppers' post urges anyone with knowledge that could lead to the apprehension of the assailants to come forward and contact them at 800-577-TIPS. As of now, the condition of the two adolescent victims has not been disclosed.
The Crimestoppers program offers anonymity to those who provide tips that could be critical in bringing the perpetrators to justice. In the meantime, the NYPD advises individuals to be mindful of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity they may encounter in the city's expansive public transportation system.
