Tudor Dixon, the conservative commentator and former gubernatorial candidate, is contemplating another political campaign in Michigan—this time considering either a U.S. Senate bid or a second attempt at the governorship in 2026. WZZM 13 reported Dixon's announcement, in which she highlighted the "unique opportunities and different ways to benefit Michigan" that running for either seat could provide.
Dixon, a businesswoman known for her conservative media presence and her podcast, has remained active in politics following her loss to Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer by more than 10 percentage points in the 2022 race. According to a statement released on social media, and as noted by The Detroit News, she plans to leverage her experience and talents "where they would most benefit the state we love so dearly."
Throughout her political endeavors, Dixon has maintained alignment with former President Donald Trump's agenda, praising his leadership and actions taken since his return to the White House. "President Trump is leading the way nationally," Dixon's statement read. "He is delivering on his promises to secure the border, bring manufacturing jobs home and boost energy independence." This sentiment echoes Dixon's ongoing loyalty to Trump, who endorsed her run for governor as reported by The Hill.
