The Metropolitan Police Department is addressing illegal firearms through enforcement and community involvement, offering up to $2,500 for tips leading to arrests and gun seizures. Among those arrested, 35-year-old Michael Gilmore was charged with Carrying a Pistol without a License and Felon in Possession. The Metropolitan Police Department continues efforts to reduce illegal firearms in the city.
