A 51-year-old West Portsmouth man is facing charges of attempted murder and felonious assault after two victims were allegedly stabbed by him. The Scioto County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday, with 911 being alerted around 3:14 am by Southern Ohio Medical Center representatives regarding two individuals who had arrived with stab wounds.
Sheriff David Thoroughman announced that deputies and detectives descended upon 1032 Shephard Fork Road, the location where the crime reportedly happened, following the initial response to the hospital. In a statement obtained by the Scioto County Sheriff's Office, representatives confirmed that law enforcement personnel secured and executed a search warrant at the given address to process the scene.
