In a late evening incident in Baltimore, four youths were apprehended after being caught in a stolen vehicle and subsequently running into a nearby abode. The event unfolded on the eve of Sunday, as Baltimore Police Central District detectives received an alert from a License Plate Reader (LPR) indicating a Hyundai that was previously reported stolen, as FOX Baltimore reported.
The police officers, aided by Foxtrot's aviation unit, traced the car and stopped at the 500 block of Hoffman Street. In their attempt to secure the scene, they found the vehicle's occupants, including two 17-year-old males, a 19-year-old female, and a 14-year-old girl, had fled into an unoccupied residence, as mentioned in a social media post by Baltimore Police.

All individuals were subsequently charged in connection with the possession of the stolen automobile. Further probing led to supplementary charges for a couple of the younger suspects, implicating them in an unrelated burglary offense. In addition to these charges, the 19-year-old woman faced legal repercussions for a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) violation, also not related to the auto theft case.
Authorities took the underage suspects to Juvenile Bookings, while the 19-year-old woman's processing occurred at Central Booking.
