Maryland State Police have arrested a 29-year-old woman in connection to a hit-and-run crash that left one victim with serious injuries, as announced by the authorities last week. Crishawna Donteece-Chane Hall of Baltimore is facing charges including first- and second-degree assault, in addition to multiple traffic violations stemming from the March 19 incident in Baltimore County, per a report by the Maryland State Police.
Details provided by the state police indicate that troopers from the Golden Ring Barrack were dispatched to a scene on I-695 just before I-95 near exit 11. A silver 2006 Acura TL, later linked to Hall, collided with a red 2007 Nissan Quest parked on the shoulder. The collision also injured a victim standing outside the Nissan. Following the event, the victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken to the R Adams Shock Trauma Center for emergency care.
The vehicle was found abandoned a short distance from the scene on Wilkens Avenue, leading to a coordinated search involving the Maryland State Police K-9 units, the Aviation Command, and the Baltimore County Police Department. However, Hall was not immediately located at that time. Following further investigation by the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division, an arrest warrant was issued for the suspect.
Last Tuesday, the Maryland State Apprehension Team successfully apprehended Hall within the Baltimore area. She was subsequently detained at the Baltimore County Detention Center and held without bond.
