The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Business Recovery Center (BRC), currently offering assistance to business owners and residents in Clearwater, is set to close its doors permanently at 2 p.m. today.
While the Clearwater center is closing, help doesn't stop there; survivors of disasters requiring assistance with their loan applications can still find support at the Tampa BRC. The Tampa BRC, located at the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center, 2101 E. Palm Ave., Tampa, FL 33605, welcomes clients Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. and closes an hour early on Fridays at 3 p.m.
According to an announcement available on the Pinellas County government website, those unable to visit the Tampa center have other avenues to seek support. The SBA's Customer Service Center can be reached at (800) 659-2955, or via email at [email protected]. This service is available for business owners, homeowners, and renters alike, providing information and guidance on disaster assistance.
For individuals facing challenges with hearing or speech, the SBA has made accommodations by offering access to telecommunications relay services through dialing 7-1-1.
