A 21-year-old Galesburg man, Linsy-Jeremah Gibson, faces charges of armed robbery following incidents involving pizza delivery drivers, as reported by local law enforcement officials. According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office, Gibson is accused of robbing drivers from Hungry Howie’s on January 15 and Pizza King on February 26 at gunpoint. His bond has been set at $100,000 cash or surety. Gibson is scheduled for a court appearance on May 7, as detailed by WOODTV.
These allegations are part of a broader investigation that also involves Gibson as a victim of an armed robbery earlier this month, which is still under investigation, as noted in a report by WWMT. A suspect has not been identified in that case. After thorough inquiries, including witness accounts, digital forensics, and search warrants, Gibson was charged with earlier crimes.
Gibson's alleged modus operandi involved ambushing drivers after their delivery arrival; notably, one of the victims, Taylor Martin, co-owner of Pizza King, told WWMT, "When you're in that position, your life flashes before your eyes, the past and in my situation it was my future."
