Law enforcement in Harris County quickly responded to a stolen vehicle case that ended with the arrest of five suspects. Deputies tried to stop the car on the evening of April 28, 2025, near the 13200 block of Louetta Road, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4. Instead of stopping, the driver led them on a chase that ended near Tomball Parkway and FM 2920.
The situation escalated as the car's occupants fled the scene on foot. Assistance from a K9 unit known as Constable K9 R.E Moore, alongside the Tomball Police Department, proved to be crucial. Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Facebook page detailed the cooperation that led to the detention of all suspects. Identified were Owen Lander as the driver, Emily Nichols as one of the passengers, and three juveniles. Braden Tramel, another male, arrived during the incident and found himself detained for his attempts to interfere with law enforcement efforts.
Following the chase and subsequent arrests, charges were levied against the involved adults. "The adults were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading. Owen Lander was also charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. His total bond was set $17,500.00 out of the 183rd District Court. Emily Nichol's bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 3. Braden Tramel was charged with Interfering with Public Duties and received a $100.00 bond." This was outlined in the statement released on the Harris County Constable Precinct 4's social media channel. Meanwhile, the juveniles were taken to the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center but were eventually released to a guardian.
