
Jacksonville will host the 2025 Earth Day Festival today from 10 am to 2 pm at James Weldon Johnson Park, located at 135 W. Monroe St., Jacksonville, FL 32202. The free event aims to educate the community on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
According to the City of Atlantic Beach website, attendees can participate in hands-on activities, interactive displays, and hear from guest speakers, including Mayor Donna Deegan, who will speak about local environmental initiatives at 11:45 am. The festival is organized in collaboration with the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board, JEA, and local businesses and city departments.
The event will feature educational talks, demonstrations, and workshops, providing opportunities for attendees to learn practical strategies for addressing environmental challenges. The goal of the festival is to encourage people of all ages to become more environmentally conscious in their daily lives.
