According to FOX 13 Seattle, an official with Lake Washington School District revealed there was a bomb threat indicating that the bomb was situated in a bathroom. Despite the tension, after an exhaustive search by authorities, no bomb was discovered on the premises.
Classes were canceled as a precaution for the entire day, leaving many students and staff members, with the uncertainty hanging over the school, never made it to the campus. KIRO Newsradio confirmed that those who were already on campus at the time of the threat were escorted to the school football field, while others were advised not to come.
