The Original Spring Job Fair, taking place May 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall. Clark County Commissioners Tick Segerblom and Jim Gibson are spearheading Nevada's premier free job fair, teaming up with the EmployNV Business Hub, a partnership that promises to connect attendees with a myriad of employment possibilities across various industries.
About 100 employers will be ready to meet, interview, and potentially hire from the crowd of hopeful professionals; with positions up for grabs that span entry-level to seasoned professional tiers, this event is not just a meetup but a potential pivot point in the careers of many Nevadans, and considering the impressive headcount from previous years, it's expected that the turnout will be significant. According to the Clark County government's announcement, last year's event attracted close to 4,000 job seekers, with an encouraging 20 percent walking away with job offers in hand.
Job hunters looking to streamline their fair experience can head to the pre-registration page at tinyurl.com/2025SpringJobFair. "Our Spring Job Fair is The Original Spring Job Fair,” said Commissioner Segerblom in a statement, "We don’t charge job seekers or employers to participate, making this event the ideal place to be for any business that is hiring, or any job seeker seeking new opportunities," as per Clark County government's announcement.
The fair offers more than just job opportunities; it features a pop-up EmployNV Career Hub where career coaches can help polish resumes, and computers and printers are available for last-minute adjustments. This provides job seekers a chance to turn their goals into action and step closer to securing a stable career.
The event caters to parents by offering free childcare for potty-trained children ages three to 12, provided by Kids Quest. Commissioner Gibson highlighted the economic benefits, stating, "Helping employers connect to qualified employees helps keep our economy strong," reinforcing Clark County's commitment to building a strong workforce. The Original Spring Job Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with free parking available in adjacent lots.
