The Milwaukee community can breathe a cautious sigh of relief as 11-year-old Kaidan Hudson, previously reported missing, was found safe over the weekend. According to a report from FOX6 News, the Milwaukee Police Department launched an urgent search for Kaidan on Sunday after he was last seen on Friday around 7 p.m. near the intersection of 26th and Concordia. Kaidan is described as a Black male, approximately 4’8" tall, weighing 70 lbs, with brown eyes, brown hair, and a low high-top fade haircut.
The news of Kaidan's safe recovery offered a momentary relief—an assurance that proved short-lived, underscored by the recurring pattern of similar incidents involving young individuals who disappear and then reemerge. These cases may point to deeper issues beneath the surface of the community. Details surrounding Kaidan’s brief disappearance and his recovery on yesterday morning were shared in an email from the Milwaukee Police Department, with JS Online crediting both the department and the public for their collective efforts in locating the young boy.
However, the city's collective breath was caught once more; the search resumed with abrupt urgency as Kaidan was reported missing again mere hours after confirmation of his safety. A report by WISN outlined the recurrence of Hudson's disappearance following the initial successful search, prompting a renewed plea for public assistance in locating the boy.
In this latest development, authorities have reiterated Kaidan’s physical description—this time noting a more precise weight of 60 pounds and detailing his attire as a black hooded sweatshirt, gray Adidas jogging pants, and black sandals. Despite earlier developments, Kaidan remains missing, and officials continue to urge the public to remain alert and report any relevant information to assist in the ongoing efforts to locate him.
