Heading into tonight, the chance of precipitation drops to a slim 10 percent before 7pm, followed by mostly cloudy skies and an anticipated low around 48°F. Winds are expected to shift from southeast 5 to 10 mph to west after midnight. Tomorrow promises mostly sunny skies with a high near 60°F, but Milwaukee should prepare to be hit with wind gusts that could potentially reach as high as 35 mph.
The forecast continues to be unpredictable as the week progresses, with a 30 percent chance of rain showers after 1 a.m. tomorrow night, mixing with snow after 5 a.m. Temperatures are expected to drop to a low of around 38°F, with continued breezy conditions. By Tuesday morning, there’s a chance the city may see snow showers before 7 a.m., but the weather is predicted to clear partially, offering partly sunny skies and a high near 51°F, though windy conditions will persist.
In an outlook that warns residents to stay vigilant, the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan issued a hazardous weather outlook, highlighting that there will be chances for thunderstorms this afternoon, with gusts up to 40 mph expected on Monday afternoon into Tuesday. There may be isolated gusts hitting up to 45 mph. "Spotter activation will not be needed," said the statement.
Looking further ahead, the weather appears to gradually settle down, with Wednesday offering sunny skies and a high near 50°F. The calm is short-lived however, with a 40 percent chance of showers by Thursday afternoon. Milwaukeeans should specially note that showers and possibly a thunderstorm are likely on Thursday night and Friday, with chances of precipitation escalating to 70 percent. The following night brings another 30 percent chance of showers, while Saturday promises to bring back the sun, showcasing mostly sunny weather with a high near 54°F.
