North Las Vegas has opened the Dolores Huerta Resource Center, a "one-stop community hub" offering a variety of services, including free educational classes, health services, and legal workshops. In a statement, Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown said, “The Dolores Huerta Resource Center underscores our commitment to providing accessible community-minded resources in North Las Vegas,” according to the City of North Las Vegas.

The Dolores Huerta Resource Center in North Las Vegas, funded with $1.6 million in Community Project Funding, will serve over 2,000 residents each year. The center offers services in education, health, legal aid, workforce development, technology, and arts and culture. It is open six days a week, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and provides assistance in both English and Spanish. The center is operated by the Just One Project, a local non-profit organization focused on food insecurity, housing support, and case management, as reported by the City of North Las Vegas.

Wilson Ramos, Director of Community Services and Engagement, said, "As the largest minority-majority city in Nevada, we recognize North Las Vegas residents have a wide range of unique needs." The Dolores Huerta Resource Center brings together several agencies and non-profits in one location to provide services to the community. The center aims to support the city’s social infrastructure and honor Huerta's legacy of empowerment and inclusion.
