Set against the backdrop of New York City's commitment to sustainability, the spotlight also beams on the city's efforts to decarbonize its transportation footprint, with the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission gearing up to add 16 new Ford Mach-E's to its fleet, which Commissioner Louis Molina says will ensure 45 percent of its vehicles are electric by June, "Beyond today's announcement, we're always looking for ways to innovate and invest in the city'sd decarbonization goals and we have been making great strides on that front," Molina told ABC7 New York.
