On Saturday evening, Oxnard Police detained Aldrian Higgs, a 41-year-old resident of Oxnard, following a traffic stop initiated for a vehicle code violation while he was on an electric scooter at the intersection of Hemlock St and Dunsmuir St.
Officers discovered a loaded handgun concealed in Higgs' waistband, a discovery that prompted his arrest on multiple firearms violations, according to a news release published on the Oxnard Police Department's website.
