According to an official statement by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the suspects have carried out multiple thefts between December 1, 2024, and March 10, 2025, at various retail establishments along N. Perris Boulevard in Perris and Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore. During the execution of search warrants on March 27, 2025, law enforcement officers discovered additional evidence in Moreno Valley, which contributed to the apprehension of the alleged perpetrators.

Identified as 20-year-old Keith Thomas and 24-year-old Nathan Ramirez, both residents of Moreno Valley, the duo now face charges for burglary, grand theft, and organized retail theft. Particularly, Thomas faces an additional allegation for committing a felony while on bail.
