
In a significant drug bust led by the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, over 10 pounds of various narcotics were seized, and three individuals have been taken into custody. The sheriff's office announced the successful outcome of an undercover narcotics investigation orchestrated by their Special Investigations Unit (SIU) on social media.
According to the post from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, the operation took place on March 20, involving multiple units of law enforcement including the SIU, Air Unit, SWAT, K9, and Task Force. Search warrants were executed at both 932 and 924 Puryear Street in a coordinated effort to disrupt local drug activity.
The search at 924 Puryear Street uncovered a significant amount of narcotics, including 5 pounds of Marijuana, over 4 pounds of Methamphetamine, 1.25 pounds of Cocaine, and 7 ounces of MDMA. Additionally, detectives found a firearm and evidence suggesting drug manufacturing and trafficking. At the neighboring 932 Puryear Street, a variety of drug paraphernalia was discovered.
Megan Adams, 36, faces charges for resisting arrest without violence, maintaining a drug dwelling, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charles Wright, 45, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Also taken into custody was Noel 'Chris' Tobler, 55, who is facing multiple serious charges, including armed trafficking of cocaine and methamphetamine, weapon possession by a convicted felon, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell, as detailed in the sheriff's office post.
