
Waukesha County is set to honor its fallen law enforcement officers with a memorial ceremony, as announced by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department in a social media post. The county invites officers, their families, and the public to join them in remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The event, organized by the Waukesha County Police Chaplains’ Association, is set to take place at the Fox River Christian Church on Lawnsdale Road in Waukesha, on Friday, May 16th, 2025, kicking off at 5:00 p.m.
Following the ceremony, attendees can look forward to sharing a meal, with dinner being served to foster a sense of community and togetherness among the guests, organizers have planned a dinner to follow which is an integral part of the evening intended to offer solace; and further reflection for those who grieve and remember. The Law Enforcement Officers of Waukesha County (LECOWC) are sponsoring the event, and while there is no requirement to contribute, donations are welcome via Zelle, to aid the cause and support the law enforcement community
