
A brush fire spread across about half an acre at Sunset Park in Clark County, Nevada. The Clark County Fire Department responded quickly. No injuries were reported, and nearby structures were not threatened. Officials said the fire is now contained.
A separate quarter-acre fire started about 100 yards west of the original fire. The fire department and crews from the Bureau of Land Management stayed on site to prevent any flare-ups and monitor the area, as reported by the Clark County.
According to the Clark County on their X account, visitors are advised to use caution in Sunset Park near active fire crews. A recent fire affected parts of the park, and the cause is under investigation. Firefighters, with support from the Bureau of Land Management, worked to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
