An undercover chat operation conducted by the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station’s Detective Bureau resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old Chino man on Tuesday morning. Allen Edward Zamrok was apprehended after he allegedly agreed to meet with what he believed to be a 13-year-old boy for sexual acts. Detectives launched their investigation following an exchange initiated by Zamrok under the user alias "Asianspice89" on a social media application.
According to the official press release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, Zamrok engaged in a conversation with an undercover deputy who was posing as a minor. The dialogue culminated in an arrangement to meet, leading to Zamrok's immediate arrest and booking at the West Valley Detention Center on a charge of P.C. 288.4(b) - Arrange to Meet Minor for a Lewd Purpose, with his bail set at $50,000.00.
The authorities are concerned that this may not have been an isolated incident. To identify additional potential victims, the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff's Station has released a photograph of Zamrok alongside his social media username. They are urging anyone with information related to the case or who may have had encounters with Zamrok to step forward.
