In a much-anticipated move by the Shapiro Administration, Secretary of the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Rick Siger joined forces with key figures from the bone broth company Kettle & Fire and representatives from High Real Estate Group to herald a new era for manufacturing and agricultural growth in Pennsylvania. The partnership promises to invigorate local economies and add jobs within Lancaster County. The announcement took place at the site of the new facility on Ben Franklin Boulevard, according to PAcast.
Siger accompanied by Kettle & Fire's CEO Brian Hack, and co-founder Justin Mares, laid out the Commonwealth's investment plan in Kettle & Fire, which is poised to elevate the state's manufacturing prowess, and concurrently, support the agricultural sector. Armando Ramirez, COO of Kettle & Fire, and Mark Fitzgerald, President of High Real Estate Group were also in attendance, signaling a collaborative approach to economic development.
At the core of the discussion were the potential job opportunities and the impact they might have on residents looking for employment in the region. The coalition's focus appeared to be twofold: bolstering the manufacturing base and tapping into Lancaster County's rich agricultural resources to ensure long-term sustainable growth.
The ceremony, taking place promptly at 11:30 AM today, was not just a perfunctory gathering. Beyond the speeches, there was a ribbon-cutting event, followed by a tour designed to give attendees a tangible sense of the site's potential, as obtained by pacast.com.
