A tragic collision in Milwaukee this past weekend resulted in the death of one person and injuries to several others in a three-vehicle incident. The crash occurred late Saturday night near North 76th Street and West Marion Street, as reported by WISN. Milwaukee police are actively investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash.
Details are emerging about the individuals involved in the crash. A 32-year-old woman is said to have been speeding when she struck a car containing two people—Missouri-Smith and her son—forcing their vehicle into a parked car with a person inside. The Milwaukee Police Department plans to quickly present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office, as TMJ4 released in their report.
The aftermath of the crash was severe. The driver of the second vehicle, a 55-year-old, suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. "The passenger of the second vehicle, an 18-year-old, sustained serious injuries and is being treated at a local hospital," according to information released by TMJ4. Additionally, the individual who was in the parked vehicle, a 28-year-old, escaped with minor injuries and is also receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
