A fire in southwest Las Vegas displaced five people. Clark County fire crews responded to the incident on Murray Canyon Court around 11:44 p.m., as mentioned by 8 News Now. Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the garage and extinguished the fire after opening the garage door, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the house.
Clark County fire crews were dispatched around 11:46 p.m. after residents reported seeing smoke. According to News3LV, Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Brian O'Neal said, "They found heavy smoke coming from the garage and quickly entered to extinguish the fire before it could spread to the rest of the house."
No injuries were reported after a fire displaced several residents. Authorities have not yet released information about relocation plans or available assistance.
