The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported several health violations at Minh Tuan Tran’s establishment. These included adulterated food items, inadequate cleaning, improper food storage, and ready-to-eat foods in the refrigerator without date markings. An employee was also observed not washing their hands after a break. Due to these violations, the Hawai‘i Department of Health has ordered the establishment to shut down until further notice.
Jade Palace Two has been ordered to close until it completes a recovery plan set by the Hawai‘i Department of Health. The restaurant must discard all contaminated food, clean and disinfect the premises, conduct pest control, retrain food handlers on safety procedures, and submit a report to the Hawai‘i Department of Health. The establishment will reopen only after a follow-up inspection confirms compliance. The Hawai‘i Department of Health Food Safety Branch continues to monitor food establishments and posts inspection reports on its website.
