A Las Vegas bartender, Christopher Cohen, has been arrested after hidden cameras were discovered inside the women's restroom at John Cutter Tavern, a popular establishment in Summerlin, and later inside his home. FOX5 Vegas reports that an 18-year-old woman found a camera disguised as a USB charger under the sink in the tavern's restroom on April 17.
Authorities found footage on a micro SD card showing a man who appeared to be Cohen placing a hidden camera. Further investigation at Cohen’s home uncovered recordings of two young girls, including his 13-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old girl using the toilet. Cohen admitted to having hidden cameras at his home but denied placing one at his workplace, according to KTNV. Detectives identified two additional victims from a tavern. Cohen faces charges including two counts of child pornography and three counts of capturing images of private areas without consent. An initial drug charge was dropped, but Cohen was arrested last Thursday and later charged with a felony drug offense after police found nearly three grams of cocaine during a traffic stop near his residence.
Judge Amy Chelini set Cohen's bail at $75,000 and ordered him to avoid contact with minors, including his daughter. Cohen’s next court date is scheduled for June 26. The owner of John Cutter Tavern said the staff was unaware of Cohen’s actions and is cooperating with investigators. The tavern requires all gaming bartenders to have a sheriff’s card, which involves a background check with no felonies. The owner stated, "Our team is considered family with some working for JCs for nearly 15 years. We hope that the community will continue to support the JC family as it has in the past supporting a team of 50+ individuals and family’s while we manage the course," as mentioned by FOX5 Vegas.
