
An investigation is underway in Long Beach following the discovery of a man with a fatal stab wound on West Wardlow Road. According to the Long Beach Police Department's press release, officers were called to the scene in the 200 block of the street around 7:40 a.m. on May 5, 2025. The police attempted to provide medical assistance to the male adult until the arrival of the Long Beach Fire Department personnel, who declared the victim dead upon their assessment.
The circumstances of the man's death are still being investigated by homicide detectives, and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner will attempt to uncover the cause of death. In a statement obtained by the Long Beach Police Department, both the identity of the victim and the motive behind this violence remain unrevealed until the next of kin have been notified.
Authorities have not yet determined the factors leading to the incident, nor have they established any suspects.
