Los Angeles residents can look forward to a stretch of fine weather, with a side of morning fog over the coming days. According to the National Weather Service, today's forecast promises patchy fog before 11:00 a.m. but will otherwise be mostly sunny, hitting highs around the comfortable 70-degree mark.
The city is set to briefly say goodbye to the northwest winds this morning, with a change to southeast winds that could pick up to 15 mph. As night falls, the skies are expected to clear up, with lows hovering in the mid-50s. Residents should be ready to enjoy Thursday's sunny skies, where temperatures will climb slightly higher, and then prep to see the pattern of fog rolling back in after 11:00 p.m.
The weekend is shaping up to mostly follow this script: patchy morning fog will be followed by mostly cloudy skies, and you'll want to keep a light jacket handy with highs dipping down into the mid-60s. "Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 66," says the forecast for Saturday.
Sunday is pegged to start with its share of fog but should break into mostly sunny conditions by afternoon. Following suit, the beginning of next week heralds sunny days with temperatures taking a notable hike up, possibly reaching into the low 80s by Tuesday. "Sunny, with a high near 79," predicts the National Weather Service's outlook for the coming Tuesday.
