A home invasion and kidnapping incident has shaken residents of the Cheviot Hills neighborhood in Los Angeles. According to NBC Los Angeles, a man was abducted from his home on Vicar Street and later found safe after being dropped off at a Circle K convenience store in Glendale, roughly 20 miles away. The event occurred on Saturday, shortly after 1:00 a.m. and involved five men clad in dark attire.

The Los Angeles Police Department received a call about the robbery at 1:29 a.m., with officers arriving on the scene to investigate the claims of a forced entry. Meanwhile, KTLA reported that the suspects, described as four Hispanic males who may have been armed, are still at large. Authorities currently are seeking surveillance footage to assist in the capture of the suspects, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Details surrounding what, if anything, was taken from the victim's home remain unclear. The victim's identity has not been disclosed. He managed to contact 911 after reaching the gas station in the 2100 block of Verdugo Boulevard. CBS News Los Angeles indicated that the family living in the home had only moved in approximately a week before the incident.
