The Department of Land and Natural Resources announced that the Mānoa Falls Trail is closed due to a fallen tree limb that damaged nearby bamboo. The trail, which receives 700 to 1,000 visitors daily, will remain closed until on Friday while crews clear the debris, as reported by the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
According to the Department of Land and Natural Resources, three hikers sustained minor injuries and received immediate first aid. They did not require further medical treatment and left the scene on their own. The Mānoa Falls Trail is temporarily closed. The nearby Puʻu Pia Trail is recommended as an alternative for hikers.
The Mānoa Falls Trail and Paradise Park parking lot are closed due to fallen trees. The Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife is conducting cleanup operations to reopen the trail safely. Hikers are advised to use the Puʻu Pia trails during this time. Updates will be available on the Department of Land and Natural Resources website.
