Nonprofit workers with a knack for storytelling and a hunger for funding have a new resource at their fingertips. On June 24, Raleigh Arts is hosting a Deep Dive Grant Writing Workshop, a three-hour session tailored to intermediate and advanced grant writers looking to sharpen their skills from the funder’s point of view, according to a recent post from the City of Raleigh's official website.
Based on tips from the Raleigh Arts Commission’s grant process, participants will learn how to express their goals and challenges without confusion. “You’ll come away from this workshop with new ideas and more effective ways to tell your story in a grant narrative,” the City of Raleigh said in a post.
The workshop will include networking and group discussions to explore the details of grant writing. It’s scheduled for June 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Five Points Center for Active Adults, 2000 Noble Road, Raleigh, NC 27608. Those interested should register on the Raleigh Arts website.
Raleigh Arts also manages the Pullen and Sertoma Arts Centers, several art exhibition spaces, and the city’s Municipal Art Collection, working to bring a wide range of art to the community.
