A Severn woman has found herself in the grasp of the law after she was arrested for an incident involving gunshots directed at a tow truck driver. An argument, which reportedly stemmed from the driver’s delayed arrival, escalated to the point of a handgun being discharged, striking the tow truck, according to WMAR2 News.

The upheaval occurred on the evening of March 7 in the 900 block of Reece Road when 33-year-old Devylle Campbell, displeased with the arrival time of her requested tow service, initiated a confrontation. Following an exchange of words, as the driver refused service and attempted to depart, it was then that Campbell allegedly let loose a bullet that met the tow vehicle, although, luckily, leaving the driver unscathed, as reported by FOX Baltimore.

Authorities conducted a meticulous investigation following the incident, homing in on Campbell as the suspect. This led to the execution of a search warrant at her residence in the 2000 block of Kintore Circle months later, culminating in the unearthing of several incriminating articles, including a handgun. Campbell, in the embrace of her home, was taken into custody and charged with the shooting.
