A recent car-to-car shooting in South Gate has led to the arrest of a motorist on multiple charges, among which includes attempted murder. The incident, occurring on April 30th, was observed by South Gate Police officers at the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Azalea Avenue.
Officers attempted an intervention but ended up in a vehicle pursuit, which evoked gunfire from the fleeing suspect, KTLA reports. The short-lived chase concluded at the juncture of Southern and San Carlos avenues, where the suspect was eventually arrested and a loaded rifle was found within the vehicle, the police department detailed in a post.
