
Seattle's Pioneer Square was struck by tragedy yesterday when a shooting resulted in three fatalities and left another individual critically injured. The Seattle Police Department confirmed the incident occurred after 1:00 AM on the 100 block of South Washington Street, with nearby officers responding to the scene following a disturbance. According to the Seattle Police Department, the officers discovered four adults with gunshot wounds and immediately commenced life-saving efforts.
Despite the swift action of the Seattle Fire Department medics who followed up on the officers' initial attempts at resuscitation, two men and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene. In a serious state, the fourth victim, also a man, was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, where his condition remains critical.
