An 81-year-old woman is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash last Friday night in west Las Vegas. The incident happened around 10 p.m. near Desert Inn Road and Grand Canyon Drive, where the woman was legally crossing in a marked crosswalk when she was struck, as reported by 8 News Now. Police are searching for a dark-colored Nissan Sentra, likely from 2016 to 2019, that was last seen heading east on Desert Inn and turning right at the intersection. The driver fled the scene without stopping, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and driver.
A woman was taken to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle. According to KTNV, the suspect’s vehicle is missing the lower center grill, which may help identify the car. The investigation is ongoing.
